We will be exploring a couple of the best breweries of Asheville by SUP and kayak on the French Broad! 21&up. We’ll meet you at White Duck Taco where you’ll leave your car and we will shuttle bus you to the starting point. This river is flat and wide, an easy beginner run, winding through the river arts district. Our guides will help you learn to kayak or SUP if you are new to it. It is a scenic and fun way to get to the breweries. Great for groups, solo travelers or couples, because you make friends with your crew throughout the afternoon. We have dry bags for personal items, dress to get wet and still be able to walk a block or two. Our life philosophy is EAT ANYTHING, ANYWHERE. We like eating some of the best foods, in odd places. We will meet on the docks of East Boston where we will tear into and slurp dozens of local oysters, harvested by our oyster farmer friends, while looking over the harbor and skyline. You will learn how to properly shuck an oyster and will go home with a shucking knife of your own. The memories will be in the details. We will set up in "flash-mob" "pop-up" style along the water. Expect the unexpected. Other things to note This is an outdoor experience. To get to the dock, I encourage you to take a water taxi! There are several pick-up points and I am happy to help arrange this for you.

To many, the world of Hasidic Jews is shrouded in mystery and secrecy—well, not anymore. On this experience, you get to see first hand the daily lives, rituals, and customs of the Hasidic community, guided by a member of the community and being able to access places seemingly closed off and hidden to the outsider. Then its off to the streets of Crown Heights, starting with exploring the world famous “770” Synagogue, getting a glimpse into the hustle and bustle of daily prayer services. Next stop is a Jewish scribe, seeing up close the intricate details involved in producing the Torah Scrolls. Followed by a walk down the avenue, visiting the local shops, and seeing the traditions dating back to the early 1800’s. If you don’t see availability for when you would like to join, please message us and we will try to accommodate. The experience will be hosted by Yoni or Mayer. Afrikanisch-amerikanischer Rundgang durch Lower Manhattan
This unique three-part, 3 hours walking tour will begin where Manhattan began - at the National Museum of the American Indian. Each part of the tour will last approximately 1 hour. This first leg of the tour will start in Lower Manhattan. Specifically, Bowling Green, where the first enslaved Africans started building the infrastructure of the city, and end at Wall St. where the enslaved Africans were brought and sold. The second leg of the tour will start in the Financial District. We will walk up Wall St to Federal Hall - a site next to a famous free African who owned and operated a famous Oyster House in 1825. The last leg will start around the Brooklyn Bridge, including the African Burial Ground National Monument plaza. This tour is great for groups, team-building, and field trips, and it's especially beneficial for school-age children. Depending on the mood and convenience of the group, we can stop for snacks at any time. Each location is based on a specific chapter in my book. There will be several restroom breaks. Please note that finding parking is extremely difficult in Lower Manhattan. Indoor garages will cost between $35-40. I advise using public transportation or car service.
Wandern mit Ziegen
A Ten Apple Farm goat hike is a two hour recreational and educational goat experience. You'll meet your hosts (and our herd of Alpine dairy goats), and hear about their 16 years of experience with goats and living on a small family farm. Once we've met the goats and the many other animals residents of the farm, we’ll set off on a hike through the Ten Apple Farm woods with the goats and Philip our sheep! The hike consists of an approximately one and a half mile loop trail through our woods on lightly groomed trails. Along the way we’ll talk about goats as pack animals, what they eat, and you’ll learn a thing or two about raising and caring for goats. There's lots of time for interacting with the goats, asking questions, or just soaking in the Maine woods and these adorable, fun animals. We end the experience with fresh goat milk and homemade cookies! Please note: Children must be at least 5 years old and accompanied by an adult. 5 and 6 year olds should plan to hold a parent's hand during the hike. (Children under 4 must be carried). Other things to note: The hike is not strenuous, but there is a little bit of steep terrain in 2 spots. We have rope railings on the trail to assist with getting up and down in those spots, but guests who have bad knees, hips, or other difficulties with uneven or steep terrain should be aware.
Entdecke köstliches südindisches Dosa in der City
This is a fully home-style experience where my guests will learn how to make a crispy dosa (Indian rice crepe) stuffed with masala and also get immersed in the aroma of a spiced milk chai (tea) loaded with local spices from my homeland. My guests will also learn how to make delicious coconut chutney and the recipes for all the dishes will be shared with them. Guests will also be served with sambar (lentil soup) with the dosa. The spice level will be adjusted based on the guests' preference. I will also be sharing my expertise in draping the saree and dhoti (traditional Indian attire for men and women respectively) Other things to note Please let me know of any allergies, special dietary restrictions and/or spice tolerance level prior to the experience.

Scenic coastal tour in an expedition Zodiac - Lunenburg
Are you a road-less-travelled kind of person? Would you like to experience a beautiful, less touristy part of Nova Scotia? Join us for a 2-hour coastal tour through Tanner's Pass and Lunenburg's back passage — a pristine part of the Atlantic Ocean. Our tour is in a professional, 19-foot Zodiac MilPro HD. These popular vessels are the black, inflatable boats you find on expedition ships around the world. They're also the boats we operate as photographers and guides in Antarctica and the Canadian sub-arctic. So what will we see? It is common to see numerous seals, osprey, great blue herons, various sea birds, mink, and deer as we Explore the South Shore. We’ll also talk about flora and geology as we cruise the area. It truly is one of the prettiest parts of Nova Scotia! There are two things we cannot control; wildlife and weather. That said, we keep a close eye on marine weather forecasts and if we have any safety concerns, we will reach out asap. We operate rain or shine so please be prepared to get at least a little wet. We’re not whitewater rafting, but there’s still a very good chance water will come over the bow. Please contact us if you have any questions at all!
Three Sisters Sea Kayaking Day Tour
Let me take you kayaking on the world's biggest tides, on the Bay of Fundy. We will paddle in the spectacularly scenic and remote Cliffs of Fundy UNESCO Geopark, where North America once separated from Africa, and the evidence is still visible in the cliffs today: Lava flows, fossils, colourful rock formations steeped in indigenous storytelling, and arches to paddle through. A highlight of the tour are the Three Sisters rock spires, which we will kayak through while I take photographic memories to take home. We will stop at a remote beach that used to be one of the busiest shipyards along the Fundy shore during the age of sail. Today, it is a heaven of serenity, where we might find remnants of the past in an old horseshoe or parts of the historic wharf once the tide recedes. Here, we might see a bald eagle fly over, hear kingfishers chatter and see curious seals poke their heads out of the Bay. We settle down on driftwood for a home-made meal fresh from my organic garden. Upon paddling back, the tide will be well into the ebb, so areas where we previously paddled through are now sitting high and dry - an incredible sight. The paddling time both ways is about 1.5 hrs, with an hour for the picnic. I will provide all the gear needed, food, photos and instructions on how to paddle and steer the kayaks, and am a certified kayaking guide.

Wolfville is the perfect starting place for adventure in and the Annapolis Valley and Southern Nova Scotia, and I reckon you'll end up having a greater appreciation of Where It's At! We'll focus on Wolfville's: history, landscape, businesses & buildings, cultural & culinary resources, opportunities, Acadia University, and more. Chances are, we'll bump into a few friends along the way. Unless it's absolutely horrendous weather, we ought to be able to walk & talk no matter the conditions. Lerne unsere Alpakas kennen
Welcome to our Alpaca Farm! Upon arrival, you will be met by some of our Alpacas. Though they may be some distance away grazing in their rolling mountain pasture or relaxing in one of the barns, they will certainly acknowledge your presence with a curious stare. We start your experience with a short walk to a nearby pasture to observe and learn about the alpacas and our farms story. Standing by the fence, we will introduce you to the alpacas, discuss farm safety and answer any questions. Usually the alpacas are interested in what we are talking about and will generally come up to join in the conversation. As your experience winds down we invite you to the “Farm Store” for all things alpaca. In the store, we explain how their fiber is converted from raw fiber to luxurious clothing. At the conclusion of your experience we invite you to bring a picnic and dine along the banks of Cove Creek while you take in the beautiful mountain vistas.

Erkunde das Weiße Haus mit einem ehemaligem Kennedy-Mitarbeiter
This is a walking and history tour that walks the complete outside circumference of the gated portion of the White House. Prior to 09/11, as a former White House staffer, I could simply show my ID and take visitors in for a tour. That perk evaporated on 09/12/2001, and inside tours must be requested through a member of Congress. An external, walking tour is the next best thing to a tour inside, with my sharing features of major rooms in the White House, the West Wing, and the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, where my office was when I worked at the White House. In addition to the history of the building and stories about some of its occupants, you get the perspective of a former White House staffer who worked for two US presidents and on the campaigns of two candidates who did not win the presidency. I have met every president who has served during my lifetime, from FDR through the current president. The meet place is outside the White House Visitor Center, on Pennsylvania Avenue, between 14th and 15th Streets, NW. The walk begins by passing through the recently dedicated National World War I Memorial, and proceeds past the Sherman Monument to the Ellipse on the side of the White House, with stories, photographs, and opportunities for questions. Continuing toward the official front of the White House, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, we pass the first headquarters of the America
